How It Works


Turn your gently used children's clothing, toys & equipment into cash! We are a resale & consignment boutique. We buy & sell clothing size newborn to 18 youth and shoes sized infant to youth.   Baby and child equipment,  toys and sporting goods are also bought/consigned at our store.


Resale is for clothing and small toys(depending on our inventory) only.  We accept items 6 days per week, during all business hours. 

Clothing Requirements

  • Clothing must be in EXCELLENT condition. We do not accept anything with spots, stains, animal hair or a smoke/pet/food odor. If we open a box and detect any odor we will be unable to go through your items. 
  • All items needs to be laid out flat or folded neatly with matching sets together. If we see that most of your items are wrinkled, we will be unable to process them. Items purchased are immediately tagged and put out to sell. 
  • Shoes should be in LIKE NEW condition. Soles of shoes should be free of gum, dirt, etc. 
  • Girls dresses 0-6 months should have bloomers or diaper covers. 
  • Outfits with multiple pieces should be placed together (not pinned, stapled or taped). 
  • Current fashion - older styles do not sell, even those that are brand name or new with tags. Clothing must still be in style and purchased within the last 1-2 years. 
  • We cannot accept items if we are "overstocked". Check back with us again. Our rack space dictates how many items we can carry at a time. 

NO BAGS PLEASE. Items should be folded neatly and placed in a rubber maid container, laundry basket, or box. We will return containers. 

We want to make you an offer for all of your children's gently loved items, but we are selective about what we can accept due to our customers' expectations. We make every effort to present both affordable prices to our buyers and attractive offers to our sellers. 

We offer 1 option for resale payment as of May 30th 2017 (No longer pay out credit for buys)

  • Cash Buy Out - when we offer to buy your items, the offer you receive is 20-30% cash of what we believe we can sell your item for. All clothing items will be processed and paid out the next day. 
  • You MUST pick up cash within 2 weeks or it becomes property of the store.
  • If you purchase something when you pick up your cash we will give you a 10% discount.

**Please note: Customers must pick up items we do not purchase within 1 week of leaving items. Items left and not purchased after 1 week will be donated. This is strictly enforced. 


Consignment is for equipment and large toys including indoor & outdoor play equipment, strollers, highchairs, bouncers, pack n plays, etc.

How Cosigning Works:

  • Consignors will receive 50% of the selling price. Price will be adjusted according to sales, markdowns, etc.
    • If consignment item doesn't sell in a month, we will slightly decrease the price each month. If you do not want this to occur you are responsible to inform us of it.
  • The consignment period is 60 days. After 60 days, your items will become property of the store. Items will stay at regular price for the 60 days unless you communicate we can discount the item. 
  • If items haven't sold in the 2 month period and you want your items back, you must come to the store find & pick up items within 5 days of expiration date or they become the property of Sweet Rock'n Kids. 
  • Store will set the price of the item. We are unable to accept any item that retails new for less than $5.00. 

Equipment Requirements

  • Must include all parts. Instructions appreciated.
  • Must meet current safety standards. 
  • No re-calls. Check for recalls at CPSC website prior to bringing in your items. 
  • No breast pumps, used bottles, infant car seats manufactured over 1 year ago. 
  • No cribs. Depending on inventory... no rocking chairs or changing tables.
  • Baby equipment must be 5 years or newer for most equipment. It is very important to clean any fabric. We do not have laundry facilities set-up in the store. The cleaner the better. 

Toy Requirements

  •  No recalled toys or those that contain lead paint. Check for recalls at CPSC website prior to bringing in your items. 
  • No stuffed toys. 
  • No toys that will resale for under $5.00.
  • Use a magic erases to clean scuffs off toys. Make sure that no paint or stickers are missing. Include working batteries if required. Make sure to include all pieces and put toys that have many pieces in a separate bag. We are much more likely to take toys if they are organized.
